    Wow

    Wow...no excuses.
    Well, many.
A year? Two years even since my last update?  Shameless :P
But I have to admit, I forgot about it :P

Hope everyone's fine :D Might update this more often in the future...perhaps.

    Currently listening to Neil Hannon.
Never realised how popular he is :L He's composed for Father Ted and Doctor Who. And that's impressive enough for me, hahah.
Duke Special was also featured in a Christmas ad for RTÉ lately :D Well..no. 5 months ago.

    Andrew Maxwell gig soon :D
So many things I could say, but alas, I'm half arsed.

    July 02

    Quite a long time....

    ....since my last entry.
Yeah, I promised to get one up ASAP. I lied. I don't feel guilty, because no one reads this. So ah well.

    So, straight into business.
Katy Perry's - I Kissed a Girl WILL end up in the charts. FACT. I know this because it's amazing. So, you heard it here first, unless you didn't. Then you didn't hear it here first.

Blue October, if anyone hasn't heard any of their stuff, go haste! It's pretty damned amazing, in my humble opinion. Their new album 'Foiled' is currently released -joy!-  and it rocks. Literally xD The main dude has a..weird yet awesome American sounding voice, as heard in 'Into The Ocean.'

The Pigeon Detectives new album was also released at the end of May, and it too, is amazing. 'Spec loving 'I Could Love You For A Day [Then I'd Hate You For A Week]. It's a lot like their old album, Wait For Me, in which most of the tracks sound the same -as in beat and stuff- but it sounds different than the last  album. It's less pop than the last one.

Also, Sandi Thom released her new album, The Lily and The Pink, which I'm currently listening to, sounds a hell of a lot like her old album, Smile, It Confuses People, but hey, it's all good.

MUSE, a popular band that I only just found in my music collection, are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Yes. Yes they are. Starlight and Knights of Cydonia are probably my favourite tracks, but hey, I love Supermassive Blackhole and this other song that I would be able to find if Media Monkey wasn't being such a pain is the arse.
Anyways, you should too get that. Because I said so.

Oh, in my last blog I mentioned Traffic Lights by The Ting Tings sounded like Duffy. I did not mean Mercy by Duffy! I meant Syrup and Honey by Duffy. Mercy by Duffy sound like Chasing Pavements by Adele to me.
Oh, another fact. The Ting Tings - Shut Up and Let Me Go, will make it to the charts too.

Bleh. I'm gonna go and hopefully update soon.

    hails xxxx

    May 23

    20 days

    ...since my last entry.
That is a record I am quite proud of.

But because of this fact, this will be short. Cause you can only listen to so many albums a night -22 for me..I've counted-

But right now it's The Ting Tings - Shut Up and Let Me Go
    Catchy, cathcy, catchy.

And Travis..I may have mentioned that already. Actually, I'm sure I have.
    Anyways, they rock.
I am getting their vinyl soonish!!
But sommmeoonee *glares at person -you know who you are-* is interferring with my post so I haven't got i yet.
Numerous threats and insults are not helping either.
    Which is a shame.
For the curious it's the 7 inch Selfish Jean one.
    I am so excited.
    *squeals*

Apart from that, I soon leave school -next week- for three glorious months, so I hope to get more stuff on here.
But, to state Carla Bruni, Promises Like Pie Crust.

Duke Special a.k.a Peter Wilson, is currently writing his new album, according to the newletter the lovely team send me.
He wants it to raise the dead, or something along those lines.
I am, however, confident it will.
So I shall not play it in a cemetery.

The video for Snape vs. Snape, well fanvid anyways, is just so unbearably cute.
    Go view meh darhlllinks.

There was also another album I was gonna get the other day..I just cannot remember the name of it.

I did, as mentioned, get The Ting Tings album, We Started Nothing.
Kinda indie-pop...and the fourth track, Traffic Light, sounds a lot like Duffy.
    Well, slightly.
    It's her kinda style.
Ah, go listen then give me your opinion.

Have I mentioned The Holloways on here before??
    Oh mai, I don't think I have.
    No recollection of it anyways.
    That cannot be right.
Cause they've rocked my music world,  -along with many others, it has to be said- for 6 months.
Reinvent Myself and Generator would probably be my most listened to from the album So This Is Great Britian?
Along with the track that the album is named after.
So This Is Great Britain? In case you can't put two and two together.

And have I, or have I not been hearing The Fratellis on the pop radio -yes...I occasionally listen to it. Don't hate me!!-???
If though..woah. Anyone who've been reading this since I began on here will know I'm a huge fan of them.
    The drumming is...woah.

And I also got Daftpunk's Technologic..I remember having it years ago, but alas when you begin to realise how amazing it was, you lose it.
    So I got it again.
    Yayers.

And Dustin, mate, you done great on the Eurovision!! Them silly people not voting for ya!
    Irelande Douze Pointes XD
I don't know what all ye European's are on about anyways...
Cananda's so gonna win this years competition.

Anyways, I find this of a somewhat decents length so up I shall post.

Please comment and thank you to all the people that have visited and commented before!!
    I WUVV YOOH

I hope you liked this latest random ramblings.

    My Bad...

Yeah, I didn't stick to my one-blog-a-fortnight. Actually, I wasn't even gonna bother today until I remembered it was this day 12 months ago at approx. 9.30pm  that Madeleine McCann went missing.
And since I used to write quite a few blogs on the subject, I thought that I may as well update for this somewhat 'momentous' occasion.
Like anyone reads this....if you do leave a comment.
Don't give me the whole 'you have to be a member' to sign my guest book. You don't. I have taken the liberty of trying for all of ye lazy so-and-so's.
Yes, I'm am so great, I am so great G-R-A-T no, wait G-R-E-A-T, I am so great.

Anyways, right now I love Travis.
I mean, I totally and utterly love them. Maybe more so than the Pigeon Detectives. Which is extremely good in my opinion.
I love their songs 'Eyes Wide Open' and 'Selfish Jean'.
If you can use YouTube watch for video for the latter. I've been told it quite funny, due to the fact they have the lyrics written on their t-shirts and take them off -they're [the t-shirts] are in layers, with a different word on each the front and the back-.

And I also looove The Maccabees. Very different sounding, yet good all the same. I 'spec like the song 'Latchmere'.
Don't know why, but the lyrics seem to stay in your head.

Ohh, and PeggySue and the Pirates -www.myspace.com/peggysueandthepirates-
    Superman and Spare Parts...extremely funny.

And another myspace band that I have loved for many many months -which means they're great, seeing as I usually forget them after a maximum of a month- is
      http://www.myspace.com/victoriaandgeorgia.
I stumbled across them whilst listening to their wRock [The Riddles] and although they seem to be getting more comment and views than last time, it's still amazes me their not getting hundreds of plays a day.
They have beautiful voices along with lyrics.
I would love to e-mail them, seeing as I'm not a member of myspace, but, alas, they have not displayed their address.
    Shame.
They'll never know they have some fan in Eireann :P

Oh, and I might throw in Kate Nash's Mariella here. Because I simply love that song and whisper the lyrics in public without noticing far too often :P And don't be put of by the first minute or so of the song. It does get faster and better.
A small nagging feeling is telling me I have mentioned this before. I'm pretty sure I have.
     Ah well, you'll live.
If you don't, I hold no responsibility.

Anyways, I would love to make this many pages longer but I cannot think of anything else.

Apart from Wallis Bird, a slightly jazzy/blues artist who appeared on Ceol '08 if we have any irish reading this ;D
Very funny, and learned to play the guitar. In a matter of speaking.
She ever actually learned to, she just played. E.g she can't read music.
A bit of trivia for ya. Anyways, her album is called Spoons and good.
    Obviously it's good.
Or else I wouldn't be mentioning it.
But I felt the need to put that in.

So and that dumb note, I bid you goodbye.

And I hope to update more often. But I doubt it.
    You'll get over the loss.
    I hope.

    Your not-so-very loyal music blogger

    Gawd

Yeah, sorry about the late -and short- update!!!!

    But i HAVE excuses. Ish...
    The usualo ones.
    1. School
    2. School
    3. School
*is lying* LIKE HELL I SPEND THAT MUCH TIME ON SCHOOL WORK!!!!! Eye-rolling

Nah, my laptop has decided to sulk and won't work....I have hit it, yelled at it, shrieked at it, slapped it, threatened it, ignored it.

    Yet nothing seems to work.
I still have to try fixing it...but that seems a bit drastic.

Anyways, my usual list of singers.

    Wallis Bird
    Weird Al Yankovic
    Bird and the Bee

    and

Ceol '08.....gawd, didn't see that one coming.

Oh and Duffy's album, Rockferry....very cool.
Well, not Hot cool, but more like 'I could listen to this over and over again. For a long time.'

Oh and the usual geeky w-rock scene...I'm getting far to into that for someone who can hardly remember any Harry Potter titles. Ah well. It makes me laugh.
Which is always a great thing for a comedy band, I suppose.

I had far more bands...I have just blanked.
    Well, that is irritating.
Seeing as I committed them to memory so damned well.

Well, no, not really. But ah well.

Hope ye all had a GREAT Easter and got tonnes of chocolate....hopefully not enough to get sick. But if you did, all the better!

I shall try to update quicker next time. But I don't believe though....

    Slán!

    February 19

    Meteor Music Awards

Yep, they were on last Saturday. (see title)
Duke Special was on. Gave one of the most touching speeches I've heard in a long time XD
Anyone who saw it will know what I mean.
    Open-mouthed
One Best Irish Male, and he thoroughly deserved  it. So, hope ye alllll voted for him :P
And Cathy Davey won summat, but my memory is failing me at the moment.
Oh, her new hair just ROCKS!!!!!!!!!

I've listened to Elliot Minor recently, but I'm not quite sure whether or not I like them...they seem too 'pop'-ish.

Mariella by Kate Nash is just awesome!!!
    I love it!!

But right now I'm listening to the parselmouths
    http://www.myspace.com/theparselmouths
    Feed your inner geek!!! :P

If you haven't read Harry Potter, don't bother!!!

Anyways, I have to leave it at here, but hopefully I'll update again soon!
Yeah, doubt you care, but w/e.

    January 25

    Ya..

.I have no idea what to write
    So, sorry!
I KNOW I shoulda have updated sooner, but, wotcher gonna do?
Duke Special is in Dubai at the moment. I have recently come to realize, that some of ye -okay, no one reads this, point being...?- dunno who the hell he is.
No One: I am ASHAMED of all of ye! ASHAMED!
    No Two: www.myspace.com/dukespecial
No Three: He is the greatest artist on earth, and everyone should listen to him. In my humble opinion.

I have also come to realize that a few of ye dunno what 'indie' is. I have taken it upon myself -I am good, I know XD- to make this word house hold.
Remember this day! My dear children! The first day ye learned what 'indie' meant. Ye heard it here first!
    Indie: Independent.
Started of as an independent band a.k.a not signed up to a record label but is now a style that very few people understand of follow. I however, find it addictive. Maybe because I dress 'indie'.
Also, if you have never heard this word before, it is in my avatar. Go peek.
So, indie is a totally new style, unique to everyone who wears it. Tis gorgeous. In my, once again, humble opinion.
So, spread around ye're lil bloggy mates etc. and gimme a lil advertisement in der. ;)

On another note Cathy Davey is in the charts. Yeah, BIG surprise, but then again, she has an amazing voice. Go buy her album.

So, adios amigaaas/amigos -i dunno how many ppl will read this!-

    January 01

    New Year

Well, it's that ime of year again.
Where everyone makes resolutions that we all know they can't keep.
    So these are mine.
    Stop making resolutions.

So, anyways, Scouting For Girls rock.
James Bond...one of their songs. Is. So. Funny.
    Lol, tis hilorioius.

Listinf to Cathy Davey at the moment, but haven't a clue what she's signing about.  But a beautiful voice.
Also Roisin Murphy is good. Long songs though.

No Cover Up is gonna be Duke's Special's new single! Yay!

Happy New Year to all my viewers! Hope you continue reading this loada crap during the year ;)

    December 24

    Nollaig Shona Duit!

Christmas is only a day away!
    So, Nollaig Shona Doibh!
    Feliz Natal!
    Feliz Navidad!
    Merry Xmas!
    Buon Natale!
    веселое рождество!
    Joyeux Noel!
    Fröhliche Weihnachten!
I TRIED to add babelfish so other people who would like to speak their native tongue could read this, but alas, I have failed.
I don't know how to put any ''gadgets' up, so please, I need help!

Sorry I haven't updates in so long.
My internet was down, and apart from that, I couldn't think of anything to actually WRITE.
    I still can't..
apart from Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy
    Now THAT was funny.
    To me anyways....

Anyways, I haven't heard that much new music that I'm interested in.
Don't Breathe By Duke Special as always, but other wise it's just X Factor -which I cannot STAND- nd Christmas songs, which all seem to be pretty much the same.
Ah well, have a great '08!

In case any of ye noticed -yes, all two of my readers- I have changed the back ground..I was thinking og Live Earth, but that seemed a while away.
    So for now, Global Warming!
    Stopit.

    Remembrance Day

    Yep. It is.
If your not familiar with the British, it's the 11/11

WWII ended at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month.
    And you wear poppies.
Not poopies :p I said that earlier...
I have a small poster made with Oil Pastels with a little poppy on Lest We Forget 11/11 on it...it stinks of hairspray...coz I spray it on pastels to stop it smudging.

    I have LONELY DAY!
OMG, yes I am very excited.
I love that song. It rox.

It's on a bullying poster I made....actually on 3 that I made...they are also made from oil pastels and stink of hair spray. I spent a lonngn time on that poster. Most of yesterday.

I also got TWO Duke Special albums.
Adevtures in Gramophone and Your Vandal.

    And the Phantom Planet one.

    And The Hoosiers one.
I quite like Run Rabbit on that....

    I listened to.,...several albums yesterday.

    3 Duke Special ones.
    The Hoosiers
    Phantom Planet
    hellogoodbye

    and a few others...which I forget

I listened to the 3 Duke Special ones several times

I am cureently listening to Lonely Day
    'Tis on repeat

    Featured

Due to my utter and complete laziness this shall be short

I will give u cookies if u comment. i am desperate

    Featured by The Killers
Due to my utter obsessiveness I stayed up until 00.15 to be one of the first to watch this. It is freaky video. Sinister.

Hmm..I realized that they made a new version of Beautiful Girls by Sean Kingston
To be honest I noticed this several months ago. I just never said.

I am listening to all of the MCR albums.
It's a new game I'm playing. I shall listen to every band's album every day.
Unless they have hundreds. Then I can't. But i shall try.

I have not yet got Tom's Brown Schooldays. I am distraught.

I had many many more songs.

But my memory is failing me.

I have also just realized that this is all in American grammar. Whoopss.

I am working on some art for DA. But you shall have to go on my DA to see it

    This is the address

    www.hailsc.deviantart.com

I WILL get you to visit.

Duke Special is writing a new album. YAYERS.
I'm gettin his old one Adventures In Gramophone

I am vair excited about that.
He is currently in Paris after finishing his 3 week tour of Ireland.
I forget what else the newsletter said.

Due to the amount of new paragraphs I have put in here, I find this of reasonable length to put up.

    Casino Royale

I got around to watching this a few days ago.
    Twas HILORIOUS!
    Vair vair vair vair funny.
    X10
Didn't understand a word of it, and I can't play poker.
But I, somehow, think that there is no way intelligence agencies work like that.
But, then again, who am I to judge ;D
Ahaha, the heart attack! And the killings! How RANDOM.
Imagine killing a few random people -they may nbot have been random, but as I said before, I wasn't paying much attention, seeing as the volume was screwed- then changing your shirt, and going back to play poker.
The beginning was wicked so. Especially when Daniel Craig slipped up. Was that intentional? I hope not XD
Hehe, when it started I thought I was watching Spider Man, lmfao. Twas HILARIOUS.
    But confusing.
And I thought James Bond was set years ago...meh.
I loved that woman, who seemed very confused and annoyed that Bond was getting her address and stuff. Made me laugh. A lot.
And one last thing, beofre I change onto a completely random subject.
Do you REALLY leave such evidence on random laptops, telling the world that you work for the Intelligence agencies.
Anyone of DA may know that I've had a looonnngg discussion about that.
I ALSO have that wallpaper. 'Tis funny. I got it of DA.
    *****************************************

I want to see Tom Brown's Schoolday.
Random? I said it would be.
I saw the FUNNIEST Youtube clip, which I WOULD post, but I've lost the link.
    They wore TOP HATS.
And use 'nasty' names such as BRUTE and COWARD.
OMG, my poor ears burn. Eye-rolling
Hehe, it looks hilarious. I like there accents. Actually I like Alex Pettyfers accenht. He had a wicked one in Stormbreaker.
Twas funny. Apparently it sounded a lil like mine :p Whoops...
Anyways, I've got the whole story of wikipedia and I want to watch it more..or read the book.
But you can;t SE the uniforms in the books.
Eton collors and tophats. I wish schools today still wore it :p
Or does Eton still wear it???
Ohh..going on the site, did you know that Eton is another completely random technology company?
    No, well now you do.
As far as I can see, they don't wear top hats, but STILL have the Eton collar.
    Wicked...
    James Bond went to Eton.
It's the circle of Blog Life.
    Lol
Anyways, back onto topic...whatever that was.
    I have forgotten.
Oh, yes. Tom Brown's School Days.
Well, I'm off to either get a copy of the film, or read the book.
    Or maybe neither.
    **************
Hehe, I'm out of music, for now.
I have a list beside my bed, where I'll write down songs I like, and occasionally get them or put them up here.
But during a massive late spring clean, I threw it away.
But the good thing is, I can now see my bedroom floor.
Anyways, right now I want the Lonely Day song by Phantom Players.
Which I heard on a Tom Brown video clip.
    Another Blog Circle of Life.
Alex Pettyfer crying...gawd, you just have to see it. I have a cruel sense of humor.
Like David Platt...gawd, I'm SO looking forward to the wedding...wait is that on Halloween night? Whoops..it's a toss up between new Alex Book, where I'll then write fanficticon, where he
dies randomly. The Radio, where I shall get more songs for this blog. Coronation Street, where David does something vair
odd. Or Halloween, where I'll get even more hyperactive..hmm, I would make a poll. but my last one ended up terribly. Mainly coz no one could ude it, due to my lack of experience with putting codes on here.
And does anyone notice how Spaces.Live keep changing the lay out?! Everytime I figure out how to use it, it changes again.
Or maybe I'm just losing my memory..meh.
Anyways, back on topic - ish seeing as I've forgotten again what the topic- is that song, I think I asked about on the last blog or summat, is actually called 1,2,3,4 by Feist, otherwise known
    as the iPod song.
    How creative.
Wait For Me by Pigeon Detectives...I've just heard it, and it's SO on my favorites.
    And I can smell onions....interesting.
Jamie T Money, or summat like that. I'm too lazy to fine out.
I'm going to FORCE you to vist my page.
